Just south of the famous Muertos Beach you will find a small rocky peninsula that divides Muertos Beach and Amapas, there is a small walkable trail to go over the rocks and into Amapas Beach. You can also access it through a pathway that goes all the way from Muertos Beach to Conchas Chinas.

Just south of the famous Los Muertos Beach, you will find a trail that connects with Amapas and Conchas Chinas, the oldest high end residential area in the bay, with spectacular mansions nestled in the

foothills of the mountain, all with amazing ocean views. Amapas residential development is much more recent, with towering luxury buildings immersed in lush tropical vegetation. The beach here is simply beautiful, with calm, pristine waters and golden sand under the shade of Amapas trees, which give its name to this area.
